Is exactly what she sings in this song, or tickets to see my girl Amel Larrieux sing this beautiful song lol. She is such an underrated artist. She writes songs that are consumed of substance and meaning and she sings from her innermost soul. Through her lyrics and her voice she can touch your heart. There aren't too many artist that have such a talent.

Addicted to American Apparel
I have always loved American Apparel! Their clothes are so comfy and versatile. I love to mixed up all of their pieces and come up with new ideas. Though they aren't super cheap you can get a still get a few basics that will last for a very long time. If you're a Fashionista you will be able to come up with plenty of fun, cool, creative looks! Sexy lips make guys weak, and sends all kinds of thoughts to their mind. That's why its always good to make sure ya lip game is on point. Whether you use chapstick, lipstick, vaseline (ya its a little hood but at least they won't be all crusty and white like a crackhead) or lipgloss. Mac makes a really nice line of lipgloss called Dazzelglass. It lasts forever and makes ya lips look super juicy, check it out at ya local Mac counter.
With that said, rapper, stylist, and model Teyana Taylor is debuting a line of lipgloss in 2010 called "Dope Lips". I love these Louboutins!! I saw them and thought STATEMENT SHOES, they practically scream it out. When you wear these everything else should be simple and crisp, bc you want the focus to be on ya Louboutin's nothing else and you don't you dont want to look overly done, but always effortlessly on point! I could see Janelle Monae pimping these out with her pompadour!

I couldn't believe it the first time I read it either lol. The OTKB's are fly ass hell and only $299.99. I would cop a pair but I have my pair for the season already. Ladies the line hits stores November 14th so make sure you up early and in line because Mr. Choo's items wont last long. I think it will sell out in about 5 min myself...NYC about 3min!!

8 years in Afghanistan, Do u feel safer?
It's been 8 years that our country has been fighting a senseless war, can you believe it? How much safer do you feel today than you did 8 years ago? How many more innocent Americans and Afghans have to die? When will this war come to end? So many questions not enough answers and resolutions! With that said I would like to Thank ALL of our Soldier's who have served, are currently serving, and those who are currently in training to serve our country! I love you JOEY WILSON xoxoxo :)

Chris Rock has a new documentry hitting theaters this month, Its definitely a must see! Why do we care who has good hair, nappy hair, bad hair, straight hair, jheri curl, wigs, weaves, locks, afro's, cornrows? As long as you're comfortable with it girl do ya thing :) Our beauty shouldn't be measured by how straight or nappy our hair is we are beautiful regardless! All the talk about hair reminded me of that Spike Lee Joint "School Daze" lol yall remember that movie! I have never gotten into the whole Nuvo thing. Quite honestly, I don't care to see a grown man sipping a pick colored drink acting like he is the hardest thing in the club either....can I get a "How Yoooouuuuu Dooooinnn? I don't even like Champagne, but I must say thanks to a special Man I know, who always been ahead of his time.........I had the pleasure of tasting Veuve Clicqout! The Champagne was established in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot. When Philippe's son died in 1805 his wife Barbe became a widow at 27, hence the name "Veuve" which means widow in French. Barbe took over the company and became on of the leading businesswomen of modern time! Rihanna is basically shutting down Paris Fashion week and it's really making me so sick! I mean this girl is sooooooo damn FEROCIOUS (yes Neva mind Fierce thats my new term) !!!!! First is rumored to be dating my white boy crush JT! Then she is Front row at BALMAIN......smh!! Now I see her front row at CHANEL dipped in CHANEL from head to toe! Then she even had the nerve to be wearing my Fav Christian Louboutin studded Pigalle Pumps! Lets not even get into her killer Sunny's (sun glasses) I'm must admit I love her style and I wonder how she became so fashion forward out of nowhere? I mean a few years ago no one cared what she wore and now all eyes are on RiRi. One of My Favorite 3 Poets
Suheir Hammad
Suheir is a Palestinian-American Poet, Author, and a Political Activist, I discovered on Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam. I think she writes some of the most beautiful poems and when she speaks she draws you in with her soft spoken tone and the passion she displays as well. Suheir speaks from the heart and isn't afraid to make you aware of what's going on. She is passionate about the social injustice of Palestinians as well as others and is fighting for peace among all cultures despite each others different beliefs. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite poems from Suheir below as well as in the Smoothie Treat.

Pat is a true artist when it comes to the application of makeup! Her ideas are extraordinary and so innovative. She is a genius a at what she does! I mean if Vogue considers you the most influential makeup artist, this woman is definitely doing something right! I have been following Pat for years and work work is truly inspiring! I have never seen a makeup artist that actually brings life to the designers ideas the way Pat does! She also seems like a sweet humble woman who absolutely LOVES what she does and I love her accent! Pat Rocks!
