Suheir is a Palestinian-American Poet, Author, and a Political Activist, I discovered on Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam. I think she writes some of the most beautiful poems and when she speaks she draws you in with her soft spoken tone and the passion she displays as well. Suheir speaks from the heart and isn't afraid to make you aware of what's going on. She is passionate about the social injustice of Palestinians as well as others and is fighting for peace among all cultures despite each others different beliefs.
