Don't laugh @ me yall! I heard this song and fell in love with it. I love all genres of music and I'm not afraid to say I like some country music every now and then. I think Dolly was so raw and honest in this song, I mean think about it, she is begging ol girl not to take her man. She isn't tryna beat her ass up and down Broadway like Keisha with Pookie and them. She loves this man and she is telling Jolene how devastated she would be if she took her man. I can respect a woman that is real and honest about her feelings and isn't afraid of what anyone thinks about it. Not too many woman would do such things now days.

I also have mad respect for a dude that is not afraid to wear a purple suit with muliti-color sparkly things on it lmao :)
